Villa Royal - Florence

The swimming pool was refreshing and quiet, a great escape. The spacious room kept noise out, and the large garden was perfect for relaxation.

Attractive hotel with good and favourable location so close to many great restaurants & tourist sights, the historical center of Florence, and the major sights. Fairly quiet room, excellent view of the garden. A wide array of tasty breakfast options...

Just an appropriate option for a brief stop-in in Florence with definitely value for money. The breakfast was decent and provided a nice start to the day. Check the pool hours ahead of time, as it gets crowded on weekends.

Room was sweet as with a nice view, but the air con didn't work well and breakfast could've had more options. Chur for the lovely garden area though!

The breakfast can be more better

The staff is attentive and the breakfast is large. Well-kept room with balcony views, the garden, and there's private parking onsite, if you travel by car.

Perfect spot for a cozy getaway!

The staff was super friendly and helped with all my needs. The in-room breakfast was a treat, especially the fresh pastries. My only gripe was the air conditioning not being great at times. But honestly, the charming atmosphere and the relaxing pool made up for it!

the hotel turned from a beautiful old house with lot of antique furniture inside; reasonably good location (about 15 min walk from the main station)

hotel staffs are unfriendly; my room and the bed are really small and should be for single rather than double occupancy; seems that its booking system is messy

Location, high cellings

Had to pay 25 extra for parking (per day), and received an "unofficial" receipt. Swimming pool is 8 Euros extra PLUS 2 Euros if you wanta towel. Notices on the reception indicating all little extras that had to be paid. Staff became friendly, but obviusly are annoyed to have to ask for these extras.

A Serene Oasis in the Heart of Florence

The breakfast was a highlight as well, with fresh pastries and a variety of fruits served in an idyllic outdoor setting. The charm of the historic hotel complemented the sense of tranquility was nice. One aspect that could be improved is the limited air conditioning control in the rooms.

The hotel offered a lovely spacious garden for relaxation, and the proximity to local trattorias was a definite plus. Some issues arose with the air conditioning, not providing the desired comfort levels. A good experience, but there's room for improvement.

Incredible location, 10 minutes' walk to a cathedral-flanked square. Airy room, elegant with a terrace, a good sized bathroom and fabulous decor, welcoming staff. A really comfortable stay in winter time.
